Well done to our U12 Shamrocks Celtic FC team who progress to the next round in the SFAI National Trophy after a 2-1 win over local rivals Quay Celtic FC in the U12 SFAI Subway National Trophy Rd4, in Clancy Park. 

Shamrocks conceded an early goal at 5 mins, but the lads showed lots of grit and determination against a very strong Quay Celtic side to come back and take the 2-1 victory.

The equalising goal came from a superb Kaylem Thornton free kick. The Quay Celtic keeper then pulled off a great save from another Kaylem Thornton free kick but the ball fell to the feet of Conall Daly who neatly slotted it home to put Shamrocks ahead 2-1. 

The lads now proceed to the semi finals in North Leinster and the round of 32 in the National trophy. Well done lads and coaches on a great result. ⚪️🟢
