The FAI have recently introduced a new system for "Self Registration" where parents and players over 18 can initiate the registration process themselves. 
Registration with FAI is a different process than the Membership that parents have already completed on Clubzap, registration provides a verified photographic link for each player which is important as competitions become more serious.
Until this year, this process has been handled by club administrators, but there were GDPR issues to handling photos that the new FAI Self registration process eliminates.

The video shown on the line below from the FAI website gives the steps that need to be followed.

1. Laptop

2. Clear headshot of your child, with a clear background.

3. Clear Photo of the Child's Passport or another ID.

     This photo should be uploaded to the "Clearance Documents" section of the child's registration.

             

In 2025, a registration form was sent out for signature which needed to be signed and returned by email. It seems this may not be required from 2026 onwards.

Please complete this Registration as soon as possible as failure to do so could result in children being unable to play with their teams.
