Soccer Steps are running a high-quality Goalkeeping Camp at Bellurgan FC, Flynn Park next week, Monday 17th – Friday 21st August, 10am–1pm.

This is a really high standard of specialist goalkeeping coaching, and it would be a fantastic opportunity for any of our Shamrocks goalkeepers to develop their skills, confidence and understanding of the position.

It’s also open to any outfield players who have ever thought about becoming a goalkeeper — it’s a great chance to try the position in a proper coaching environment.

There’s a strong programme covering basic techniques, positioning, distribution, saving, game play and the psychology of goalkeeping, with Mark Byrne as guest coach and a special session with Jim Lowther, an accredited Sports Psychologist who has worked with professional and academy goalkeepers.

Cost: €95 for the week | Ages 5–12

If your child is interested, the club would recommend getting them involved. It’s a great opportunity to receive specialist coaching right on our doorstep.
